DAY 1: WELCOME TO CANCUN – TULUM ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE – SNORKEL IN CENOTE – OVERNIGHT IN MAHAHUAL

  • 9 a.m. Welcome at Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or Riviera Maya Hotel. We will visit Tulum archaeological zone. Without doubt, Its beauty stands out for being on one side of the turquoise waters and white sands of the Caribbean Sea. During the tour in Tulum, you will discover the importance of this walled city as well as the different structures like the Castle, the Masks Temple and the Chaac God. 
  • 12:00 p.m. After the visit we will continue to some of the best kept secrets of the area – the secluded underground cenotes, where you will be able to swim besides admiring the stalactites and stalagmites that have been formed for thousands of years. For to the Mayas the Cenotes represented a door to the underworld. Travel Tip: Bring swimwear, towel and extra clothes at hand. A safety vest, goggle and snorkel will be provided. 
  • Time for lunch in Tulum and later on a 2 ½ hours transfer to the Mahahual town, located on the Maya Coast arriving at sunset.

Day 2: FREE DAY IN MAHAHUAL OR DIVING OR SNORKEL – OVERNIGHT IN MAHAHUAL

Spare day in Mahahual to enjoy this paradise. ¿What to do in Mahahual?  Enjoy the peacefulness of this fishing small town, that has brought people from all over the world for its singular beauty. Walk along the clear sand of the beach, swim. You will see a variety of colorful fishes. Optional: As optional activities you can snorkel or dive with a professional instructor. Ask for more information. These activities will be added to the package with extra cost.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO BACALAR MAGICAL TOWN – ZIPLINE IN BACALAR – BLUE CENOTE – OVERNIGHT IN BACALAR

  • 9:00 a.m. We will go to Bacalar to continue enjoying our mayan adventure travel. ¿But what to do in Bacalar? The first adventurous activity will be 5 ziplines through the low south jungle of Quintana Roo, exquisite sceneries of the Lake of Bacalar. The activity will last 3 hours, you will see the flora and fauna of the site, as well as the 1,450 meters circuit and 5 ziplines, the shortest of 167 meters and the longest of half a meter long.  Travel Tip: Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for walking (no sandals), sunscreen, camera, extra clothes and personal towel at hand. ¡Good vibes! 
  • 2:00 p.m. We will go to the Blue Cenote Restaurant where you will enjoy the different sea dishes. Also you will enjoy this Cenote at open skies, clear waters and its singular beauty. Relax and enjoy a lovely view and a refreshing dip.

DAY 4: VISIT TO SAN FELIPE FORT – BOAT RIDE IN THE BACALAR LAKE – OVERNIGHT IN BACALAR

  • 10:00 a.m. ¿What else to visit in Bacalar? This morning depart the hotel  to visit the San Felipe Fort. Its construction was thought as a defensive fort to preserve the state against the British attacks, built between 1725 and 1733. Nowadays it shelters in its interior a museum dedicated to the pirates that prowled the Caribbean and the Maya Coast. From its bastions, you will admire a lovely view of the Bacalar Lake. 
  • 11:00 a.m. We will take a boat ride around Bacalar Lake. You will see the Black Cenote, the birds island and the pirates canal.  In this mayan adventure travel, will be time to enjoy the singular beauty of the different blue turquoise tones of its waters.
  • 1:30 p.m. Time to have lunch at the lakeside and enjoy the peacefulness of the site. Indispensable to bring a good vibe and disposition to connect with the Lake. Travel Tip: It is advisable to bring extra clothes and a personal towel at hand.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO CANCUN AIRPORT – END OF SERVICES.

Today is free to enjoy the the Maya Coast. Transfer to Cancun Airport between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Remember check-out time is at 12:00 p.m. hours and the transfer to the Cancun Airport takes 4 hours.  Optional: Transfer to the Chetumal Airport is 30 minutes from Bacalar. ¡Good Trip!
